Why X is a Good Social Network

A lot of people hate X because it has many trolls and borderline illegal posts. For example, you’ll find racism and posts defending Nazism. But I believe those are good things. Let me explain.

The rest of the Internet is too sterile. It doesn’t reflect the real world because in this world, we have sick people who will hurt you physically and mentally. We need to be aware of these people. But the Internet is heavily moderated. Most social networks will only allow posts that don’t break social norms. That’s why people who spend more time on the Internet than on the streets eventually turn into highly sensitive and naive people who you can easily offend and take advantage of.

X is great because people can be their true selves. If someone is a racist, they can express their racism on X. If you have children, you can easily expose them to racism by showing them such posts. This will allow them to be better equipped when they encounter racism in real life.

I didn’t even block people on X because I want to be aware of what the worst of humanity looks like so that I don’t live inside a cocoon.
